Bunut Bolong is located at the village of Manggisari in Jembrana regency ( west Bali ), 86 kilometers away from Denpasar.
The route can easily reached by car or motor bike.
Bunut is a banyan banyan tree family, and bolong means hole. so bunut bolong is a bunut tree with hole . Uniquely a road was built through the hole. Two cars can easily pass through the tree at the same time. At the north part of the temple theres a gazebo set up for visitor who want to view the beautiful rain forest scenery on the west part of Bali. on the west side theres a temple called " pujangga sakti " dedicated to a great sage " dang hyang sidhi mantra " who happened to meditate in the area hundred years a go.
